Kelia Willis Lay

Kelia Willis Lay 47, of Kings Mountain, passed away February 20, 2024, at Atrium Health Cleveland Hospital in Shelby.

She was born January 1, 1977, in Cleveland County, daughter of Timothy Willis and the late Tina Sanders Radford.

She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Kings Mountain.

Kelia was a free spirit. She was loving and kind to everyone she met. She adored her son and was a wonderful mother to him. She was faithful to keep in touch with her family and friends via her telephone. She loved to travel when she had a chance.

A celebration of Kelia's life will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, February 25, 2024, at Bethlehem Baptist Church 1017 Bethlehem Road Kings Mountain, officiated by Pastor Steve Taylor.

The family will receive friends 2-2:50 pm prior to the service at the church.

Kelia is survived by her father Tim Willis and wife Charlotte; son, Kelian Meeks; children she considered as her own, Tony Watkins, Lee Rickman, and Brianna; brothers, Ricky Radford, Kyle Radford and wife Kellie; sister, Devin Absher and husband Chad; nieces and nephews, Jaece Absher, Sydney Radford, Maddox Radford, Aven Radford, Tina Radford, Ian Radford.

In addition to her mother, Kelia was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arthur Sanders, JoAnn Sanders, Dewey Willis, Edith Willis-Head.
