Kaye Reeves

Kaye Reeves, 71, of Lincolnton, passed away November 6, 2014 at Carolina's Medical Center in Lincolnton. She was born July 20, 1943 in Gaston County, daughter of the late Ralph Killian and Ruth McAlister. Kaye was a devoted wife, mother, Mi-Mi to her grandchildren and great-grandchild. She was a Real Estate Broker with Reeves Properties in Gaston County. She was just an all-around great person. Kaye is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Charlie Reeves; daughters, Cindy Carswell and husband Joseph of Lincolnton, Ashlyn and Carmen Melton; grandchildren, Brent and Preston Carswell; great-grandchild, Nathan Carswell; sister, Pamela Lutz and husband Jeff of Bessemer City; uncle, Aaron Tallent and beloved dog, B.J. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Misty Melton and sister, Vickie McDonald. All services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice and Palliative Care of Lincoln County - 107 N. Cedar Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
