Kay Cloninger Lee

Kay Cloninger Lee, 79, of Dallas, North Carolina, passed away Friday, October 7, 2022, at her residence.

She was born October 14, 1942, in Mecklenburg County to the late Sloan and Mildred Huffstetler Cloninger.

Kay was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Dallas, NC, where she was active with the JOY Group. She was also a member of the Golden Girls Group. She was a former employee of B.F. Goodrich and the Gaston County Animal Shelter. Kay loved gardening and crafting. She also played the piano for the Gaston County Senior Center.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Cloninger.

Kay is survived by her son, Matthew Lee (Brittnye), daughter, Michelle Barker, five grandchildren; Cameron, Dylan, and Lauren Barker, Ashton, and Addisyn Lee.

A funeral service officiated by Reverend Dr. John Spencer will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church on,
Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at 3:00 PM. Visitation will be 2:00 – 2:45 prior to the service at the church.

The South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service is serving the Lee family.
