Kathy Gail Tesseneer

Kathy Gail Tesseneer, 68, of Shelby, passed away September 17, 2022, at her home.

She was born October 7, 1953, in Cleveland County, daughter of Jean Brown Edmondson and the late D.F. Buff

She was a member of Westview Baptist Church, Gastonia.

Kathy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies. One of her favorite places to visit was Myrtle Beach.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband of over 44 years, Max Tesseneer Jr.; mother, Jean Brown Edmondson and husband Ricky; son, John Paul Hope and wife Leanne of Lawndale; daughters, Kim Swafford and husband Kelly of Mooresboro, Samantha Morrow and husband Michael of Grover; five granddaughters; three grandsons; two great-grandsons.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sheila Buff Hopper; grandparents Wilbert and Pearlie Glover Brown and George and Annie Buff.

A celebration of Kathy's life will be held at 4:30 pm Friday, October 7, 2022, at Westview Baptist Church, 3385 Fairview Drive, Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Scott Rudisill.

After the service the family will gather in honor of Kathy's birthday for a meal at the church and ask for family and friends to join them.
