Kathy Guy

Kathy "Katie" Guy, 62, of Kings Mountain passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Testa Hospice House in Kings Mountain.

She was born June 29, 1955 in Gaston County, daughter of the late Clyde and Beatrice Cable.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Dennis, Bill, Grady, and Jim Howard; and her sister, Peggy Cable.

Left to cherish her memories are sons, Josh Guy and wife Melissa of Kings Mountain, Chad Guy and wife Catie of Shelby; siblings, Patsy Blanton, Darlene Watson, Diane Sherrill, Becky Sulzbach, and Danny Cable; grandchildren, Clarece, Ethan, and Connor Guy.

A funeral service, officiated by the Rev. Jerry Willard, will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Greene Funeral Service, 1503 South York Road, Gastonia.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 pm Tuesday, August 29.

Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Belmont.
