Kathleen S. White

Kathleen S. White, 86, passed away January 1, 2015 at Gastonia Care and Rehab, Gastonia. She was born July 13, 1928 in Hartwell, Georgia., daughter of the late Allie Victor and Ruby Saylors. A celebration of life service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Road, Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Jerry Millwood. The family will receive friends 1to1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park. Left to cherish her memories are daughters, Victoria Stamper, Linda Fralick, Gwen Sams White; sister, Sally Cullum; grandchildren, Hitachi White, Angela Sams Champion, Matt Sams; and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Otho Hoyt White; son, Tommy White; sister, Geneva Baker, Drue Stubbs; brother, Bo Saylors; grandson, Michael Fralick.
