Kathleen W. Rayfield

Kathleen W. Rayfield, 77, of Kings Mountain, passed away December 28, 2012 at the Kings Mountain Hospice House. She was born August 15, 1935 in York County, SC, daughter of the late Lester and Ruby Farris Warren. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday at Bright Light Baptist Church, Bessemer City, officiated by Pastor Wayne Reese. The family will receive friends from 6:00- 8:00 pm Wednesday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, NC 28052, 704-867-5521. Interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City. Mrs. Rayfield was a member of Bright Light Baptist Church. She is survived by: her daughter, Scarlett Rayfield Phillips and spouse Butch of Kings Mountain; sister, Bobbi Slaton; grandchildren, Brittany Cavender and spouse Billy, Logan Fuller; great grandchild, Stormi-Kay Cavender; special nieces, Amber, Denise, and Kim.
