Kathleen Holloway Grissom

Kathleen Holloway Grissom, 86, of Gastonia, passed away February 1, 2018 at Meadowwood Nursing Center.

She was born October 16, 1931 in Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Earl Holloway and Veller Tutterow Holloway.

Kathleen was a member of Olney Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her nieces Shirley Holloway, Sandra McMillan, Mary Sanford, Nancy Holloway; many great-nieces and nephews and special friend Susan Thompson.

The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall 3:00 pm Friday at Olney Presbyterian Church, 251 Olney Church Rd., Gastonia.

A memorial service, officiated by Rev. Elizabeth Sigman, will follow the visitation in the church sanctuary.

Interment will be private.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Meadowood Nursing and Gaston Hospice for their love and care they gave to Kathleen.
