Kathleen Virgina Dixon

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kathleen Virginia Dixon, a beloved mother, dedicated pastor's wife, and cherished friend, who left this world on February 22, 2025, at the age of 93. Kathleen was born on February 8, 1932, Gaston County, NC and spent her life spreading kindness and love in Gastonia, where she made her home.

As a devoted and Godly woman, Kathleen was not only a wonderful mother to her daughters, Annette Mangum, Marlene Barber, and Janet Dixon; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, but also a true pillar of her community. She spent 63 beautiful years standing by her husband's side as a pastor's wife, nurturing her faith and inspiring those around her with her unwavering compassion.

When she wasn't busy supporting her family and church, you could find Kathleen in her garden, tending to her plants and flowers with the same care she poured into her family. She also had a remarkable talent for music, sharing her love for playing the piano with anyone who would listen. Her kindness and warm spirit touched the lives of everyone she met, and she will be deeply missed.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Arson Dixon; parents, Robert and Magnolia Crisp; 9 siblings.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation to a local charity, as Kathleen was always eager to help those in need. Thank you for your love and support during this difficult time.
