Karen Whitaker, 47, of Bessemer City, NC, passed away Friday, May 12, 2023, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC.
She was born August 11, 1975, in Gaston County, to Ann and Danny Sanderson.
Karen was a loving woman who loved her children and grandchildren. She was caring to everyone.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny Whitaker; children, Danny Sanderson, Dustin Hutchens, Pamela Whitaker, and Johnny Whitaker, Jr.; and her six grandchildren, Abigail Hutcherson, Jacob Whitaker, Nick Whitaker, Landon Byers, McKinley Edwards, and Riley Vinesett.
