Karen Baldwin Petrie

Karen Baldwin Petrie, 71, passed away at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte. She was born May 12, 1941, in New York, daughter of Nettie Hunnington Baldwin and the late Amos Baldwin. Mrs. Petrie was a member St. Michaels Catholic Church of Gastonia. A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Flint Grove Baptist Church, Gastonia. Interment will be held at Hollywood Cemetery. She is survived by: her sons, David Petrie and spouse Michelle, Gary Petrie and spouse Kathy; daughters, Patty Petrie Darby and spouse Bill, Christine Petrie Crumpton, Kathy Petrie Perrigo, Anne Petrie Walker and spouse Bill; brothers, Paul Baldwin, Guy Baldwin; sister, Carolyn Baldwin; 17 grandchil-dren and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by: her husband, Martin Petrie; granddaughters, Mellisa Petrie, Kelly Perrigo.
