Karen "Kk" Boyd Busler

Karen "KK" Boyd Busler, 45, of Belmont, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at the UNC Chapel Hill Hospital.

A native of Gaston County, born on June 28, 1976, she was the daughter of the late John and Dianne Boyd.

Karen was a pastor's wife and a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church in Belmont. She loved to sing and teach Sunday school at the church. Karen had previously taught children at the Wee Care Day School and had worked as a administrative assistant for Gaston County. She loved going to the beach with her family. She was the best wife, mother, sister, and friend.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Rev. John Busler, Sr.

Left to cherish Karen's memories are her loving husband of 23 years, Pastor John Busler, Jr.; son, Jonathan Busler (Brittany); daughter, Abigail Busler; brothers, Scott Boyd (Trina) and Michael Boyd (Jeannie); sister, Jayne Busler (Kevin); mother-in-law, Connie Busler; brother-in-law, Jeff Busler; several nieces and nephews; and chosen sister, Kelly Ledford.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor John Busler, Jr, Pastor Jason Dowdell, and Rev. David McDaniel, will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 13, 2021,  at Faith Baptist Church – 710 Childers St., Belmont, NC 28012.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 12, 2021, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S York Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052.

Interment to be held at Evergreen Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made at Faith Baptist Church – 710 Childers St., Belmont, NC 28012.
