Kamron James Dale Wood

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a precious and beloved son and grandson, Kamron James Dale Wood, who left this world on July 26, 2025, at the tender age of eight. Born on July 13, 2017, Kamron was a bright light in the lives of his family and friends, bringing joy and laughter wherever he went.

Kamron was an adventurous spirit who loved exploring the beauty of nature. His fond memories of the mountains and the beach reflect the joy he found in life's simple pleasures. Whether he was playing in the water, four-wheeling with his family, or racing his beloved Hot Wheels cars, Kamron approached every moment with a sense of wonder that was contagious. He also shared a unique bond with his dogs and goldfish, reminding us all of the everyday joys of companionship.

A celebration of Kamron's life will be held at Greene Funeral Service - West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Road, Gastonia, on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 3:00 pm. officiated by Rev. Anthony Day. Friends and family are invited to join us in celebrating his vibrant spirit and the cherished moments we shared with him. This also will provide an opportunity for loved ones to come together and support one another in this difficult time.

A visitation will take place at Greene Funeral Service - West Chapel on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 6:00 - 8:00 pm.

Kamron's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. The world feels a little dimmer without his joyful presence, but we take solace in the joyous memories he gifted us during his time here. He will be missed deeply, but his spirit will live on in the adventures he inspired in others.

Kamron is survived by his father and stepmother, Roger and Heather Wood; his mother, Christina Simpson Wood; grandparents Diane and Roger Wood, Paul and Amanda Hardin; special cousin Kaitlyn Willis and many other beloved family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a local charity that supports children's health and well-being, ensuring that Kamron's legacy of joy and adventure continues to bless the lives of others.
