Kabisa Charlotte Mukeba, 69, of Davidson, passed away August 28, 2018 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
She was born August 7, 1949 in Lubumbashi in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the daughter of the late Mukeba Tshikala and Manyeka Kanzewu.
Kabisa was a devoted Christian, mother, wife and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband Ilunga Sebastien Mbuyi; ten children; 35 grandchildren; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kamwanya and son, Lukusa.
A funeral service will be held 3 pm on Sunday, September 2nd at Living Word Tabernacle, 4432 Kings Mountain Hwy., Bessemer City, officiated by Pastor Tim Humes.
The family will receive friends 6 – 8 p Saturday at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.
Burial will be in Westview Gardens.
