Justin Wayne Maney

Justin Wayne Maney, 32, of Gastonia, NC, passed away June 20, 2022, at Atrium-Main in Charlotte, NC.

He was born in Gaston County, NC, on June 4, 1990, to Jada Maney McCumbee and the late Gary Dean Stiles.

Justin was employed with Hoopaugh Grading in Charlotte, as a surveyor and senior crew chief.  He enjoyed his job and they were great to him.  He was a loving son, brother, and uncle.  He enjoyed the mountains and family trips to the beach.

In addition to his father, Justin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lanny Pruett, Teresa "Terri" Pruett, Lucy "Jane" Pruett, and Vicki McCumbee.

In addition to his mother, Justin is survived by his sisters, Jessica Byars (Kyle), and Brooke McCumbee (Christian); brother, Travis Stiles; nephew and niece, Jacob Maney and Lanie Watts; grandfather, Bill McCumbee (Nancy); and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his beloved dog, Chevy.

The family wishes to express a special thank you to the Oncology Department at Atrium Health and also to Hoopaugh Grading Company.

A service to celebrate the life of Justin will be held Sunday, June 26, 2022, at 3:00 pm at Antioch Baptist Church, 839 Antioch Road, Blacksburg, SC 29702.  The service will be officiated by Rev. William "Bill" McCumbee and Pastor Shane Reese.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
