Junnie Edward "Eddie" Whitley

Junnie "Eddie" Whitley, 61, of Iron Station, NC, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023, at his residence.

He was born in Cleveland County on August 4, 1962, to the late Junnie Monroe and Willie Lee Whitley.

Eddie was a member of Real Life Church in Lucia, NC. He was also a member of Inter. Brotherhood Electrical Workers #379.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Parker.

Eddie is survived by his sons, William Whitley (Toni), Steven Whitley (Carrie); daughters, Brittany Whitley (boyfriend Daniel Smith, Samantha Whitley, Gracie Davison (Austin); grandchildren, Evelyn, Elena, Bentley, Raelynn, Hunter, Nathaniel, Aubree; former spouse, Debbie Howell; nephews, Ricky Parker, Blain Houck, Triston Howell.

A memorial service officiated by Reverend Sam Barnette, will be held Saturday, December 9, 2023, 3:00 PM, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
