June Davidson Sisk

June Davidson Sisk, 91, went to be with the Lord on April 13, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

She was born on June 12, 1929, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Minnie Paralee Sanders and Harvey Davidson.

June was a 1947 graduate of Gastonia High School and was a retired accountant for Hazel Keller Cosmetics. She was a founding member of St. John's Methodist Church (now Myers Memorial) and a member of Providence ARP Church. While there, she started a widow's support group. June enjoyed making and decorating cakes, playing the organ, sewing, painting, genealogy, reading and writing stories and poetry. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hague Sisk; son, Alfred Lewis, Jr.; and infant great-grandson, Ayden Frame.

June leaves behind to cherish her memory daughters, Angie Caudle (Aubrey), and Deborah Erwin (Joe); grandchildren, Joy Hollifield (Michael), Faith Caudle, Sarah Ogden, Will Lewis (Bess), Al Lewis, III, and Brooke Lewis; and 5 great-grandchildren.

There will be a graveside service at Gaston Memorial Park on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 1:00 pm.

Services are being provided by the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service.
