Julia Gibson

Julia Smith Gibson, 55, of Gastonia, passed away May 15, 2021 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas.

A Gaston County native, she was born August 11, 1965, daughter of the late William and Klara Behringer Smith.

Julia loved her family, singing, and music.

Left to cherish her memories, are her husband of over 20 years, Rick Gibson; sons, Billy Smith and fiancée Kristin Smith, Timothy Smith and wife Taylor, Brandon Smith and fiancée Tori Stephens, and Garrick Gibson; daughters, Heather Kaye Gibson and special friend Josh Metz, Amber Lynn Gibson and fiancé Silzerio Vasquez, and Bridget Yvette Reese; brother, David Smith; sisters, Rosemary Bingham and Sylvia Bailey; 12 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia.

Funeral services will be private.
