Judy Goodson Moose

Judy Goodson Moose, 80, of Kings Mountain, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020, at Wendover Hospice, Shelby.

She was born June 12, 1940, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Maurice and Naomi Poarch Goodson.

Judy, native of Gaston County, loved her family and never met a stranger.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Red Moose; brother, Tommy Goodson; and sister, Barbara Goodson.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Marvin Moose, and wife, Gina; daughter, Sabrina Canup and significant other, Bobby Biddix; grandchildren, Angie White, Kenneth Canup, Katie Moose, Mikaela Moose; great grandchildren, Abby White, Khristin Canup, Michael Canup, Dalton Canup; and great, great grandchildren, Marvin White, Dale White, Gracelyn Bolen, Nakhia Bolen, and Sabrina Black.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, 2:00 pm, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia. Pastor Greg Neely will be officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will be held at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.
