Judy Riddle Mincey

Judy Riddle Mincey, 68, of Bessemer City passed away March 13, 2023, at her daughter's home.

She was born October 7, 1954, in Lee County, Alabama, daughter of the late John Lamar Riddle Sr. and Katherine Kittrell Reynolds.

Judy worked for many years at the 66 Drive-In and later worked as a dietician for Lincolnton Rehabilitation Center.

She was a member of Assembly of Faith in Dallas, NC

She loved her family, and for many years she enjoyed cooking for them.

A funeral service will be held 1:30 pm Friday, March 17, 2023, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Randy Richardson.

The family will receive friends 12:30-1:30 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Hillcrest Gardens in Mount Holly.

Judy is survived by her son, Stephen Riddle (Frances); daughters, Robin Rayfield (Rodney), Katherine "Casey" Dawson (Billy); brother, Thomas Riddle (Debbie); sisters, Linda Dorsey (James), Martha Dorsey (Leonard); grandchildren, Taylor Riddle, Brandon Rayfield, Colt Rayfield, Cody Rayfield, Tasha Walker, Stephanie Riddle, Brandi Riddle, Jeremiah Riddle, Destiny Dawson, Faith Dawson; thirteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Mincey; two great-grandchildren, A.J. and Serenity; brothers and sisters, Roy Riddle, John Riddle Jr., Sara Lemley, Mary Alice Brock.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, Gastonia.
