Judy Glaze Benton

Judy Glaze Benton, 50, of Gastonia, passed away February 3, 2015 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born September 14, 1964 a native of Gaston County, the daughter of Loraine Glaze and the late Kenneth Glaze, Sr. Judy was a member of South Marietta Street Baptist Church in Gastonia. Along with her mother she is survived by brother, Joe Glaze and spouse, Jamie of Reidsville; sisters, Betsy Blackburn and spouse, Gene of Gastonia and Delores Pearson of Mt. Holly; seven nieces and nephews and eight great nieces and nephews. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Benton and brother, Kenneth Glaze, Jr. A graveside service will be held 11 am Friday at Armstrong Cemetery - Osceola Street, Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Wayne Black. The family will receive friends 9:30 - 10:30 am prior to the service at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel - 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
