Juanita Giles Lane, 95, of Lincolnton, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Peak Resources in Shelby.
She was born May 16, 1923 in McDowell County, WV, daughter of the late David Crocket Giles and Cordelia Smith Giles.
Juanita is a member of Grace Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, David Lane and wife Sarah; sister, Arlecy Moore; grandchildren, Anthony Lane and wife Tina, Kristeoffer Kraft and Matthew Kraft; great-grandchildren, Toni Lane, Logan Lane and Justin Lane; grand-dog, Annie; and special friend, Cloda Guffy.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Pat Lane and 7 siblings.
A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 26, 2018 at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
Family will receive friends from 12 noon to 2 pm at the funeral home.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital – 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 – www.stjude.org.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium of Gastonia.
