Juan QuiñOnes, Sr.

Juan Quin ̃ ones, Sr., 73, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Friday, April 28, 2023, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

He was born May 22, 1949, in Puerto Rico, son of the late Iginio Quiñones and Clotilde Torres.

Juan loved cars, baseball, and the New York Mets. He was devoted to his family, was a hard worker, caring, and always helpful and giving. Juan had a tough exterior, but a soft interior.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved granddaughter, Mia Jayde Quiñones – "We'll See You Soon and Love You".

Le sobreviven sus hermanos, Antonio, Lucas, Carlos, y Santos Quiñones; hermanas, Martina Martinez- Quiñones, Maria Quiñones, Lidia Quiñones, Marda Quiñones, Irma Quiñones, y Carmen Isabel Quiñones, esposa, Blanca Quiñones; hijos, Juan ` Angel Quiñones – esposa, Alejandra M. Quiñones, y Jose Luis Quiñones – esposa, Mayra Quiñones-Lozano; y nietos, Jonathan Alexander Quiñones, y Jayden ` Angel Quiñones.

Family will receive friends 4-5:30pm, Friday, May 5, 2023, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

A funeral service officiated by Elder Juvenal Garcia will be held 2pm, Saturday, at the funeral home.

Burial will follow the service at Hollywood Cemetery, Gastonia.
