J.R. Crisp

J.R. Crisp, 56, of Bessemer City, passed away October 25, 2014 at The Robin Johnson House in Dallas. He was born May 27, 1958 native of Gaston County, son of the late Hobart Crisp, Sr. A memorial service will be held 5 - 9 pm on Thursday at Happy Day's - 503 Carolina Ave, Gastonia, NC 28052. J.R. is survived by his fiance' Angie Medlin; sons, Kelly and Allen Crisp; stepson, Daniel Odell; daughters, Kelly Horne and Tonya Self; stepdaughters, Anna and Lenzi Medlin; brothers, Randy and Darryl Crisp; sister Renee Simmons; and 9 grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Diane Haskett and Elmer Crisp. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
