Joyce Russell

Joyce Russell 89, of Kings Mountain, passed away Monday, November 13, 2023, at her home in Kings Mountain. She was born in Mint Hill Nc on January 11th, 1934., to the late Sameul Tarleton and Mary Tarleton.

Joyce was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved the Lord. She was always selfless; she was all about her family and raised her 3 great grandchildren. She loved going to the beach and Cooking.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Harold Van Russell. , Margret Smith , Edna Duckett  ; sisters , Clarence Tarleton, Willam Tarleton , Ransom Tarleton Charles  ; brothers,. And her granddaughter, Star Nycole Starnes.

Joyce is survived by her daughter Wendy Rusell, sisters:  Judy Phillips, Nancy Johnson, Virginia Sheilds, and her brothers: Donald Tarleton, Roger Tarleton, and her Great Grandchildren: Siearra Starnes, Savanna Starnes, Emily Starnes.

A funeral service will be held at her residence.  Details are still to be announced.
