Though our hearts are heavy and eyes filled with tears; remember she was not meant to always stay here. God sent her to earth with a purpose from above. To show kindness; mercy and love. To be a good daughter mother and wife. To be a blessing in other's lives. Her purpose was filled; so God called her home. Though we will miss her dearly; remember Angels belong in Heaven not here. Joyce Gordon Rush Wilson (66) of Gastonia NC was welcomed in heaven by: Her parents; Earl and Marci Gordon Harold Rush Don Wilson Jeff Rush Along with a host of angels and loved ones whom have passed before her. She will be loved and remembered by: Brother William Gordon, Sister Catherine Faulkner, Earlyne Martin Children: Jackie Martin, Teresa Nichols & Husband Patrick Nichols, David Rush Grandchildren; Erica Beaver, Josh Perry, Josh Cloninger, Ashley Martin, Justin Ray, Tesla Rush, Megan Rush Zachary Rush, and Jacob Rush. A visitation will be held 6-8 pm Monday, June 2, 2014, at Greene Funeral Service- South Chapel, Gastonia, NC. Interment is private. Joyce will be loved and remembered for her kindred spirit, her love for Christ and her willingness to find good in everyone she met. May her generous spirit stay with us all. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
