Joyce Revels

Joyce Marie Revels, 83, of Dallas, entered her heavenly home on July 2, 2016.

She was born November 11, 1932 in Blytheville, AR, daughter of the late Odell and Annie Lee McCormick.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Patty; and grandson, Patrick.

Joyce loved everyone and was the best wife, mother, and grandmother.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Junior Revels; stepchildren, Gary and Terry Revels; children, Michael Lollar, Judy Austen and husband Steve, Susan Cobb, Tonya Walker Schwartz and husband Kenneth; grandchildren, Nicholas, Courtney, and Christian; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Hanna, and Silas (on the way); sister, Patsy and husband James of Blytheville, AR; numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Gary Revels, will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 5 at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in Gaston Memorial Park.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
