Joyce Ann Radford

Joyce Ann Radford, 69, of Gastonia, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

She was born August 24, 1953, in York County, South Carolina to the late Y.L. Radford and Betty Dockery.

Joyce loved her family, and her life was spent caring for them. She will be very missed; Jesus got another angel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lon Brooks; daughter, Linda Jane Holbert; sons, Clayburn Holbert, Lon Brooks; sister, Michela Brooks.

Joyce is survived by her son, Eric Brooks; daughters, Lisa Brooks, Tracy Brooks; sisters, Rose Mary Brooks, Linda Kay Nations; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the South Chapel of Greene funeral Service and Crematory, 1503 S. York Road, Gastonia, NC. Afterwards, the family will gather at the home of Rose Brooks, 418 S. Willow St. Gastonia, NC 28054
