Joshua Roger Furr Joslyn Renee Arellano

Joshua Roger Furr, also known as Joslyn Renee Arellano, 33, passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Dignity Health St Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, California.

He was born on May 30, 1988, to Roger Dale Furr, and Renee Ward Carr.

Joshua enjoyed making everyone laugh. He loved his friends and family with all of his heart. Joshua loved animals and enjoyed going to the beach any chance he could. He had a very giving and kind soul, Joshua would give anyone the shirt off his back.

Joshua was preceded in death by his grandfather, David Eugene Ward; uncle, Randy Furr; and aunt, Robin French.

Left to cherish Joshua's memories are his husband, Jose Arellano; father, Roger Furr (Marie); mother, Renee Carr (Chuck Harrison); brother, Justin Furr; nephews, Caleb, Braylon, and Zaiden; grandparents, Raymond and Linda Furr, and Ruth Whitted (Kenneth); aunts, Regina Court (Bobby), and DeeDee Bradley (Mike); David Ward, and Rick Furr (Sandy).

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Ritchie Doss, will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S York Rd, Gastonia, NC, 28052.

The family receive friends at the funeral home an hour prior to the service.

Internment to follow the service at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City, NC.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Gaston County Humane Society.
