Joseph "Joe" Tomberlin

Joseph "Joe" Tomberlin, 78, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away June 19, 2020 at Atrium Health-Cleveland, in Shelby, NC.

A native of Gaston County, he was born November 6, 1941 to the late William and Marie Tomberlin.

Joe was a member of First Assembly of God, Gastonia, NC, and former owner of Carolina Movers and Riggers.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Tomberlin, and numerous brothers and sisters.

Joe is survived by a brother, Steve Tomberlin and wife Kathy; sisters, Rachel Hartness and Helen Mason; grandchildren, Randy Tomberlin, Jeffrey Tomberlin, Robert Blake, Loriann Ramsey, Israel Hudson, Fred Hughes, Ed Hughes, and Crystal Hudson; and great grandchildren, Mark, Gale, Debralee, Steven, Max, Ariyanna, and AudrinaTomberlin, Magan Ramsey, Chrlsea Uenable, Heather, Joseph, Emily, Lindsey, Haley, and Gregory Hudson, Dare Blake, Ellery Blake, Dakotah, Alissa, Isabella, Stephanie, Chastity, Isaiah, and Austin Hughes, and Hannah McGinnis, and 2 other great grandchildren; and 5 great, great grandchildren.

A graveside service, officiated by Pastors Dennis Boyce and Lamar Creel, will be held Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Gaston Memorial Park, beginning at 3:00 pm.

In response to the Covid-19 restrictions, the family requests guests to please practice social distancing and wear a mask when attending the graveside service.
