Joseph "Joe" Tanner

Joseph "Joe" Tanner, 46, of Gastonia, passed away February 9, 2022, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC.

He was born June 6, 1975, in Gaston County, NC to Sandra Lyles Tanner and the late John NatIon Tanner.

Joe was a loyal person who was close to his friends.

In addition to his mother, Joe is survived by  his wife, Crystal Booth Tanner; two sons, Jared Tanner and Tyler Christian Tanner; brother, Stephen Tanner and wife, Tammie; sister-in-law, Jennifer Sanders; and nieces, Kelsey Turner and husband Ethan, and Kaylee Stroup and husband John.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at 11:30 am at Armstrong Cemetery, Osceola Street, Gastonia, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Brain Injury Association of America, PO Box 7416, Merrifield, VA 22116-7416.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium.
