Joseph "Joe" Scott Peeler, 74, of Kings Mountain, passed away January 9, 2022, at his home.

He was born July 19, 1947, in Mecklenburg County, son of the late Drace Miller Peeler and Mable Louise Flowe Peeler.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm January 29, 2022, at Central United Methodist Church, 113 South Piedmont Avenue, Kings Mountain, officiated by Pastor Bruce Gwyn.

The visitation will be 1-2 pm prior to the service at the church.

Joe is survived by his friends, Don Yarbro and wife Lynn, Floyd Wright and wife Doris; and numerous other friends.

A special thanks to Todd Cloninger and Linwood Restaurant owner Keith Falls and employees Diane and Cinema, for the care and friendship they provided Joe.
