Joseph William Sapienza

Joseph William Sapienza, 70, of Gastonia, passed away May 29, 2017 at his residence.

He was born October 14, 1946 in Queens, NY, the son of the late Joseph Sapienza and Donna Lee Garrison Russell.

Joseph was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.  He loved to watch and play baseball.

Left to cherish his memories are his son, Albert McMillian and spouse, Holly Cearley; and grandchildren, Albert and Alisa Hope.

A gathering of friends and family will be held 6 – 8 pm Friday at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

Inurnment will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
