Joseph "Jt" Eugene Thompson

Joseph Eugene "JT" Thompson, 29, of Gastonia, NC passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021.

He was born September 20, 1992, in Mecklenburg Co, NC, son of Eugene Gregg Thompson and Julie Pettus Kale.

JT was a very generous person, who never met a stranger. He loved the outdoors - hunting, fishing, and riding ATV's. He loved his children.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Patricia H. Thompson; and grandfather, Gary M. Tyner.

In addition to his parents, his is survived by his step-father, Tim Kale; son, Zackery Thompson; daughters, Bella Thompson, Zaila Thompson, and Zakhila Thompson; sister, Whitney Bivens (Matthew); step-brother, Bill Kale (Lisa); step-sister, Jennifer Harris (Chris); grandparents, Robert Lee Thompson, III, and Betty P. Tyner; uncle, Robbie Thompson (Trisha); aunt, Cindy Sheets (Victor); fiancé, Angela Steele; cousins, Krystal Mayberry (Caleb), and Alisha Summey (Derrick); nieces and nephews, Bradyn Bass, Bentley Bass, and Sarai Bivens.

Family will receive friends 2-4pm, Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Clover Liberty Pentecostal Church - 1045 N Main St, Clover, SC 29710 .

A celebration of life will be held 4pm at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, Clover Liberty Pentecostal Church Building Fund.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
