Jonny Daryl Young

Jonny Darryl Young, 51, of Gaston County, passed away September 7, 2015 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas. He was born April 25, 1964 in Desert Hot Springs, CA, the son of the late Edward Young and Bertie Bryant Cheshire. Jonny was a loving father and grandfather. Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Heather Newland, Haley Moore; brothers, Eddie, Karsten, Tony and Terry Young and grandchildren, Alydia Newland and Paislee Moore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Young. A memorial service will be held Saturday 4 pm at Freedom Christian Center, 2226 Shaw Avenue, Gastonia. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
