Jonah Dillard Self, 62, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026.
A native of Gastonia, he was born on August 8, 1963 to the late Jack and Katherine Self.
Jonah attended Cedar Avenue Baptist Church in Gastonia. He loved to tinker with things, and he loved the outdoors.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Reggie Self.
Jonah is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Cindy M. Self; son, Jack Self (Summer Park); daughter, Cindy Kimble; brothers, Kenneth Self (Lois), Dwayne Self, Richard Self; sister, Joy Williams; grandchildren, Destiney Kimble, Avery Self, Hailey Thomas.
A memorial service will be held, Someday, April XX, 2026, 2:00 PM, at Cedar Avenue Baptist Church, 1326 Cedar Ave. Gastonia, NC.
