Johnny K. Mcallister

Johnny K. McAllister, 80, of Gastonia, passed away November 2, 2012 at Gaston Memorial Hospital, Gastonia. He was born August 22, 1932 in Columbus, Ohio. A funeral service will be held 12:00 pm Monday at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC 28052, officiated by Rev. Jim Loftis. The family will receive friends 11:00 -12:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia. He was a man who enjoyed life, family, and he worked hard. He came to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior. We look forward to the time when we will see him again in Heaven. Mr. McAllister is survived by: daughters, Karen Cole and spouse Patrick of Monroe, Susan Franks and spouse Alan of Dallas; grandchildren, Kara Stevens and spouse Mark of Princeton, NC, Hunter and Nathan Frank of Dallas. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by: his wife of 49 years, Ila Virginia McAllister and one sister. Memorials may be made to the Gaston Hospice, P. O.
