Johnny Hiroshi Kelly, Sr.

Johnny Hiroshi Kelly, Sr., 49, of Gastonia, NC passed away June 2, 2020.

A native of Gaston County, NC he was born July 17, 1970 to Beriko Hodge Fowler and the late Norman Kelly.

He was a mechanic most of his life and enjoyed martial arts.  He loved to spend time operating remote-control cars and airplanes.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Johnny Kelly , Jr., of Lenior, NC; a daughter, Jamie Kelly Carver and husband, Trevor, of Gastonia, NC; a sister, Jessica Pheagin; grandmother, Mitsue K. Hodge; and grandson, Jackson Carver.

A memorial service, officiated by Rev. Ron Duncan, will be held Friday, June 5, 2020 at 11:00 am at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
