Johnny A. Haney

Johnny A. Haney, 75, of Gastonia passed away April 11, 2018 at Summit Place in Kings Mountain.

He was born May 13, 1942, a native of Gaston County, the son of the late Loman "Lum" Haney and Alma Simmonds.

Johnny was a veteran of the Army National Guard.

Johnny is survived by his sons Allan Haney and wife Rhonda, Mark Haney and wife Lara; daughter Dana Ellison; grandchildren Michael Haney and Devon Kelly; great-grandchild Annabelle Haney and great-uncle Willard Haney.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Linda Poteat Haney; grandson Phillip Haney and great-grandchild Drayden Haney.

The family will receive friends 6 – 8 pm Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

Services will be private.
