Johnnie Mae Greene

Johnnie Mae Greene, 72, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.  She was born April 9, 1944 in Gaston County and was the daughter of the late John and Flossie Carpenter McArver.  Johnnie was a member of Maylo United Methodist Church.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Tuesday at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, with the Rev. Leroy Mobley, officiating.  Interment will follow at Olney Presbyterian Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm Monday at the funeral home.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Kenny Greene and wife Pam, Aunt and Uncle Margaret and Harold Moore.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Greene, and her sister Emma McArver.
