Johnnie "Bo" Dunn

Johnnie "Bo" Dunn, 63, of Nakina, NC, passed away Monday, March 14, 2022 at Shoreland Health & Retirement.  He was born in Gaston County, NC on December 29, 1958 and was the son of the late Johnny Earl Dunn Sr. and Maggie Gibson Dunn.  Johnnie was a loving husband, father, pawpaw and brother.  Everyone that knew Johnnie loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Crystal Gibson; grandson, Andrew Thompson.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife and companion of 18 years, Debra Dunn; son, Shane Gibson (significant other Regina); daughter, Tonya Hall (Carl); brother, James Edward Dunn (Marie); sisters, Patricia Pruitt (Dennis), Susan Fisher (Richie); 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Friday, March 18, at Armstrong Cemetery Osceola St. Gastonia, with Pastor Dennis Pruitt, officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6 -7 pm on Thursday at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC.
