John Edward Whitley

John Edward Whitley, better known as Bubba to friends and family, 33 of Gastonia, North Carolina on December 3rd, 2022 left this Earth.

Father of Hannah and Madison Whitley. Brother to Matthew Whitley. Bubba will be remembered by his family and friends as an amazing father, wild friend, a creative inspiration, and a guy who loved all his people to the moon and back again. He enjoyed art, going to the race track, and spending time with his family/friends. Those who proceeded him in death were his brother, Matt, and his grandmother, Peanut. John was survived by his children, Hannah & Madison Whitley, his life long partner, Cynthia Talley, his uncle, Edward Thorn (Carol Rikard), and his mother, Jan Whitley.
