John Thomas Wheeler, Jr., 68, of Clover, SC, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

He was born April 29, 1955, in Mecklenburg Co, NC, son of the late John Wheeler, Sr. and Alda Wheeler.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Lois Wheeler; and mother-in-law, Rachel Flatt.

John is survived by his loving wife, Connie Wheeler; children, Sean Wheeler (Jennifer), Veronica Cooper (Brad), and Rebecca Selph (Robert); stepchildren, Robin Funderburk (Gerald), Robert Adams (Michelle), and Ramie Adams; brother, Robert Wheeler (Sandra); sisters, Cherie Bumgardner, Sandra Owens (Gary), and Tina Adams (David); 9 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
