John "Henry" Tallent

John "Henry" Tallent, 46, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022, at his residence.

He was born March 23, 1976, in Copperhill Co, TN, son of the late Brenda Williams Tallent.

Henry was employed through Ben Morrow Properties. He enjoyed being around children, horses and loved his cat and dog. Henry had a solution for everything, he was a good person and had a giving heart.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, J.R. Truett.

Henry is survived by his daughter, Cassie Tallent; grandchildren, Benjamin Philbeck, and Holden Philbeck; brother, Charlie Tallent; and special friends, Eddie Teague, Steve Rowland, Steven Sanders, Michelle and Doug Phillips, Larry and Shelly Nations, Eddie Teague, Jr., Dennis Price, Mark Moses, and Jessica Franklin.

Family will receive friends 6-8pm, on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
