John Reid Staton, Sr.

John Reid Staton, Sr., 88, of Iron Station, NC, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022, at his residence.

He was born January 18, 1933, in Gaston Co, NC, son of the late Ambrose Reid Staton and Ollie Mae Radford Staton.

John was am US Army Vet, and was a truck driver for several years.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Staton; daughters, Carol Staton, and Ravonda Staton; brother, Everette Staton; and sister, Jean Staton.

John is survived by his sons, Perry Staton, and John Reid Staton, Jr.
