John Franklin Ramsey

John Franklin Ramsey, 51, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

He was born May 25, 1970, in Catawba Co, NC, son of Kathy Matheson West and the late Franklin Junior Ramsey.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Kathleen Matheson, and James Ray Matheson, Sr.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters, Mary Whisnant (Robert), and Lena Huckle (Everette); brother, Bobby Ramsey; and nieces and nephews, Bo Ray, Austin, Ashley, and James.

A memorial service officiated by Pastor Ronnie Dale, will be held 2pm on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Holland Memorial Baptist Church - 123 Holland Memorial Ch Rd, Bessemer City, NC 28016 .

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, Holland Memorial Baptist Church.
