John Ray Murphy of Dallas, NC passed away February 27, 2017.
John was born on November 4, 1946 in Charlotte and leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Rita (Nichols); 3 children- Donna Halstead, David Murphy, and Emily Williams along with their spouses. Mr. Murphy had 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was a long-time member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Gastonia.
Friends and family may visit the family at First Free Will Baptist Church from 5:00 - 6:45 pm on Thursday and a celebration of his life will be held immediately after.
Burial will be private.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
