John Morgan Simpson

John Morgan Simpson, 60, of Bessemer City, went to be with the Lord on October 25, 2012. He was born June 5, 1952 in Trigg County , Kentucky, son of the late John William Simpson and Clara Price Simpson. John was a loving husband, father , grandfather and friend., who loved his family dearly. He loved to laugh and live life to the fullest,. He was an avid hunter who loved the outdoors. Mr. Simpson was a combat medic in the US Army. A Celebration of Life will be 5:00 pm on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, Gastonia officiated by Rev. Wes Brown. The family will receive friends following the service. Interment will be private. John is survived by: his loving wife of 38 years, Lola Simpson; sons, Jay and John Simpson; daughters, Paula Castro, Rachael Shields; sisters, Margaret Pressley, Betty Parker, Fairlee Wallace; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters and brothers in-law; numerous nieces and nephews; great nephews and great nieces.
