John Carl Moran, Sr.

John Carl Moran, Sr., 87, entered the presence of His Savior on February 17, 2024.

He is survived by his precious wife, Marcia Moran; 3 children, John Carl Moran, Jr., James Freeman Moran, and Joanna Moran Bazen; 7 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.

He was a loving and loyal husband for almost 60 years, devoted father to his children, and faithful pastor over 40 years.  His life was marked by his deep love for Christ, the Word of God and prayer.  He was eager to see Jesus during his last few months here on earth. That is now a reality.

"For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am know."  I Corinthians 13:12

Funeral service will be Sunday, February 25, 2024, at Victory Hill Baptist Church, 2300 Philadelphia Church Rd., Dallas, NC.

Visitation and fellowship of friends will be 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm, with the Celebration of life service at 4:00 pm.

The family wishes to thank his church family, friends, and so many others who have shown an abundance of love through word and deed during this time.
