John Lomick

John Lewis Lomick, 65, of Gastonia, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at his residence.

He was born May 5, 1954, in Cleveland County, NC, to the late James William Lomick, Sr., and Geneva Rivers Lomick.

John was a member of Humphrey's AME Zion Church in Dallas, NC. He enjoyed driving cars and going fishing.   John never met a stranger. He loved his furbabies Gucci, Goldie, Binx, Peaches, Nookie, Rusty and Smoke.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a brother, Samuel Lomick, and sisters, Virginia Webber and Linda Patterson.

Left to cherish John's memories are his sons, Jon Lomick and Bryan Lomick and wife Tina; daughter, Fatima Webb; Companion and Caretaker, Lakina Fewell; brother, Jim Lomick; sisters, Willie Roberts, Ella Bratton and Grace Jiggetts; and 4 grandchildren.

A graveside service, officiated by Dr. Clinton Feemster and Dr. Benjamin Hinton, will be held on Friday, February 5, 2021 at 1:00pm at Wesley's Chapel AME Zion Church Cemetery – 542 Carson Hunter Rd, Bessemer City, NC
